Why I Chose to Help

Since January 2026, I, Elisa Erhart (26) from Vorarlberg, have been traveling through Southeast Asia. During this journey, I have become more aware than ever of how privileged many of us are. Things that many of us take for granted — a safe home, regular meals, or access to education — are daily concerns for countless families.

What touched me most was the situation of so many children. Instead of growing up carefree, many are forced to work from a very young age to help support their families financially.

Seeing children on the streets at night — children barely old enough to walk, yet still trying to sell things — changes the way you see life forever.

Our Shared Goal

Together with the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, I created this personal fundraising campaign to support children and families in Vietnam affected by poverty, exploitation, and a lack of future opportunities. Together, we aim to help where support is urgently needed — so families can stay together and children can have the chance of a safe future.

Donations provide food, clothing, and a safe place to sleep, support access to education, and help families build long-term opportunities for a better future.

Every contribution — no matter how small — can bring hope, safety, and a brighter future.
